Jakarta – A number of entrepreneurs who are members of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce (Kadin) and the Indonesian Young Entrepreneurs Association (Hipmi) attended the taxation dialogue entitled ‘Tax Policy Direction Year 2018′.
The taxation dialogue moderated by members of the House of Representatives Commission XI Maruarar Sirait presents speakers: Robert Pakpahan (Director General of Taxes Ministry of Finance), Rosan P. Roeslani (Chairman of Kadin), Bahlil Lahadalia (Chairman Hipmi) and M.Misbakhun (Member of Commission XI DPR RI).
Chief Event Officer said, there are at least 300 entrepreneurs who are members of Kadin and Hipmi who attended this event. Businessmen wanting tax revenue could be a fiscal tool that could be a boost for better economic growth.
“Hopefully the tax target can be achieved but the taxpayers can try comfortably,” said Chairman Hipmi Bahlil Lahadalia, in his speech at Hotel Kempinski, Central Jakarta, Wednesday (20/12/2017).
In this agenda, Bahlil expressed his wish that the new Director General of Taxation, Robert Pakpahan can participate in dialogue discussions after delivering the exposure.
The entrepreneurs themselves would like to get information on the direction of the tax policy next year, as the prestigious revenue target next year will definitely be dominated by contributions by entrepreneurs.
“There is something of concern, from the Rp 1,600 trillion tax target, the target is very optimistic but also very expansive because 2018 economic growth is not much different with 2017. But the realization of the tax now has not reached Rp 1,200 trillion,” Bahlil said. *(Thejakartatimes/Won).
