Suspected Exposed Pesticide LRT, Gas Pipe in Cawang Leaked

Thejakartatimes – Gas pipeline leaks occurred at the location of the Light Rail Transit (LRT) building in front of the National Narcotics Agency Building (BNN), Cawang, East Jakarta. As a result, road traffic MT Haryono sekitaran antinarkoba agency office was temporarily closed.

Head Section of East Jakarta Fire Department Sub-dept. Gatot Sulaiman stated that the incident happened at around 19:55 pm.

“The drilling of the LRT project pile and on the gas pipeline, resulting in leakage,” Gatot said in Jakarta, Monday (12/3/2018).

According to Gatot, it deployed three units of damkar cars. While five officers directly involved in handling on site.

“Officers take care of and assist the cleaning of pipes that are buried in the ground for pipeline and valpe closure,” he explained.

Officers were hampered by heavy traffic. Parties from the Jatinegara Sector Police and Satpol PP also assisted in the regulation of traffic and securing the gas pipeline leak point.

“Yes solid due to traffic diversion,” Gatot asserted.
