Thejakartatimes – Chairwoman of the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDIP) Megawati Soekarnoputri opened a school of candidates for regional head and deputy regional head who carried PDIP in Pilkada simultaneously in 2018.

Deputy Secretary General of PDI Perjuangan Ahmad Basarah said this party school has been around since Pilkada 2015. Currently, he said, has been the 6th generation.

“This is a form of obligation for regional heads to be carried by PDI-P,” said Basarah at Wisma Kinasih, Jalan Raya Tapos, Depok, West Java, Sunday (28/1/2018).

Added Basarah, one of the requirements of candidates for regional head who want carried PDI Perjuangan must be willing to follow school party.

“Because for the PDIP recommendation to get a ticket candidate for governor and candidate for governor’s deputy, not merely the regional head to move forward, but the recommendation given is amanah,” he said.

“If the head of the region is indeed, he will actually run the vision of PDIP mission vision as they lead in local government,” Basarah added.

In addition to opening party schools, Megawati will also provide guidance and campaign materials to win elections. “The material on how to win a civilized campaign, which does not justify any means, does not exploit SARA issues,” he said.

Basarah asked all the PDI-P strugglers who will fight in Pilkada 2018 simultaneously hold the principles and rules of law during the campaign.

“No money politics, no exploitation of SARA issues,” he said.

School party will last for five days opened this afternoon until 1 February.

“The materials of government will also be given by (cadres) coming from PDI-P, other materials from the regional head as a provision when they lead the region,” he said. (Thejakartatimes/EOS/Source: Suara.com)
