Thejakartatimes – Pornography is one of the factors that influence a child to sexual violence to other children.
This was disclosed by Social Minister Khofifah Indar Parawansa in a press conference on the results of research on sexual violence against children as quoted from the official press release on Friday (1/12/2017).
“The determinants affecting children for sexual violence are pornography (43 percent) Secondly, the influence factor of friends (33 percent) The three factors of drug / drug influence (11 percent) Fourth, historical influence, once a victim or childhood trauma ( 10 percent) and family influence (10 percent), “says Khofifah.
The research itself was conducted by the Indonesian Center for Social Welfare Research and Development (B2P3KS) in cooperation with End Child Prostitution, Child Pornography and Trafficking of Childern for Sexual Purpose Indonesia.
The research was conducted in five cities, namely East Jakarta, Magelang, Yogyakarta, Mataram and Makassar. The research method, ie in-depth interviewing as many as 49 children who sexually abused children, parents, teachers, head of institutions, social workers and stakeholders also become the object being interviewed.
The study, Khofifah continued, also shows a surprising fact. All perpetrators of sexual violence to children are boys. The average age is 16 years. The act of sexual violence was 67 percent done by force.
Meanwhile, the form of sexual violence is in the form of touch / touch sensitive body parts (30 percent) and intercourse (26 percent).
“The place of sexual violence is between 30.56 percent at friends ‘homes and 19.44 percent in victims’ homes, the majority or 87 percent, perpetrators and victims know each other,” Khofifah continued. (Source: Kompas)
