In Semarang, the President hands over 1,000 PKH and 1,500 KIP

Thejakartatimes – In a working visit to Central Java Province, President Joko Widodo handed over 1,500 Indonesian Smart Card (KIP) and 1,000 beneficiaries of Family Hope Program (PKH). This handover was done at SMAN 1 Kota Semarang on Monday (9/10).

To the recipient PKH, the President said that the funds available on this PKH card is Rp1.89 million. “Any idea? Taken three times, the rest can be taken in November, “said the President.
Funds in PKH should only be used for the nutrition and education of children. “Buy cigarettes allowed? Not allowed, “said the Head of State.

Meanwhile, the President reminded the KIP recipients that the existing budget is only used for educational purposes, such as buying books, bags, uniforms.

“To buy credit can not? Who said allowed? Should not. Just for the educational needs of my children all, “he said.

The amount of aid received by the beneficiary students is Rp450 thousand per year for those who are in elementary level, Rp750 thousand for those who are in junior high school level, and Rp1 million for high school or vocational high school students.

Also present was accompanying the President, Minister of State Secretary Pratikno, Social Minister Khofifah Indar Parawansa and Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo.
