Thejakartatimes – Coalition party supporters of the government of President and Vice President Joko Widodo-Jusuf Kalla held a meeting with the envoy of Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe at the PDI-P DPP office. The meeting discussed the 60th Indonesia-Japan cooperation.
The meeting took place in the DPP PDIP, Diponegoro Street, Central Jakarta, Thursday (18/1/2018). Leaders of political parties who were present, among others, Secretary General of PDIP Hasto Kristiyanto, Demokrasi Golkar Secretary General Idrus Marham, Secretary General of PAN Eddy Suparno, and Secretary General of PPP Arsul Sani. Meanwhile, representatives of other supporting parties NasDem and Hanura not appear to be present.
“This commemorates the 60th Indonesia-Japan cooperation We are here with all Indonesian political parties We reported yesterday to this meeting with Mr. Jokowi and he is very appreciative of this,” said Secretary General PDI Hasto Kristiyanto his office.
All the Japanese delegates present at the meeting wore batik clothes. Hasto also expressed his pride to the delegates for wearing typical Indonesian costumes.
“This we surpise because the gentlemen all come here with batik batik,” said Hasto.
The meeting began at around 10:15 pm which began with Hasto welcome, then the introduction of the party secretary general in attendance. Meanwhile Idrus seemed to retreat from the meeting first and leave the location at 10:36 pm. (Thejakartatimes/Elv/Source: Detik)
