Thejakartatimes – Members of the Election Supervisory Board (Bawaslu) Muhammad Afifuddin said there were 547,144 voters in the 2018 unelected Pilkada that had not been done matching and research (coklit) by the Voter List Update Committee (PPDP).
It was said Afifuddin in the Office of Bawaslu RI, Jakarta, Monday (12/3/2018). “There are 547,144 unpublished voters for the elections, spread across 15 provinces throughout Indonesia,” Afifuddin said.
According to Afifuddin, the obligation of PPDP to match and research by going to the voters’ house is not done as a whole.
“Not all houses in the area of updating as the responsibility of PPDP are approached directly to the house for matching and research to every voter,” he said.
He said the areas with unselected voters and research include West Sumatra, Jambi, Riau, Riau Islands, Banten, West Java, Central Java and East Java.
Then, West Nusa Tenggara, West Kalimantan, North Sulawesi, South Sulawesi, Maluku, North Maluku and Papua. (Thejakartatimes/EOS/Source: Kompas)
